Improving Address Search Results
In the past LandWeb Direct has utilised quarterly Pointer® products to enable users to search the Registries.

Pointer® was created nearly ten years ago, by combining Royal Mail’s Postal Address File (PAF), Valuation and Lands Agency’s Valuation List and Ordnance Survey Northern Ireland’s Common Address File (CAF).

Now that Land Registry has merged with Ordnance Survey Northern Ireland to form part of Land and Property Services, LandWeb Direct is able to connect directly to the Pointer Address Management System and upload daily changes.

This enhancement will improve address searching for all and give more up to date accurate address information.

New Land Registry Fees Order
The Land Registry (Fees) Order (Northern Ireland) 2010 will come into operation on 1^st June 2010. The fees calculator on the Landweb Direct Home and Login Screen of this site will display the new fees from 1st June 2010

LPS Ballymena CIC
Land & Property Services Opens a New Customer Information Centre in Ballymena The range of services and products being offered at our Academy House office is being extended with the opening of our first One Stop Shop. This will offer a choice of access points to services and products for customers from Ballymena and surrounding areas. LPS customers will be able to access a range of services and products from all four areas of the agency: Land Registration - Mapping - Rating - Valuation The LPS Ballymena CIC opened on Wednesday 28 October 2009 and is located at Academy House, Broughshane Street, Ballymena BT43 6HY. Update to Card Payments
LPS and BT are working closely together to set changes in place to the payment module of the Landweb Direct website in accordance to new industry wide e-payment standards (PCI-DSS). This necessary change will enhance the security of making payments online with LPS when using debit and credit cards on the Land Registry website; and will support the fight against debit and credit card fraud. These changes are nothing to be concerned about and will be in place by the 31st May 2009. For more information please click on the link provided for the LPS Service Communication Note.
