Landweb has a number of desktop components
which are being made available for free download from this
site. These components consist of a number of wallpaper bitmaps
set for various screen sizes, and the landweb screensaver.
Wallpaper installation instructions
All of the files below are self extracting
zips. Click on a button to download the appropriate wallpaper
for you screen size. Once the download is complete run the
executable and select a location for the file to be extracted
to. Right click on your desktop and select properties from
the menu that appears. Under the wall paper section choose to
browse and go to the location where the wallpaper file was
saved. Once the file has been selected choose apply you will
now have the landweb direct backdrop.

To download the screensaver click on the
button below and run the executable it will install its self as
your screen saver. Its setting can be adjusted in the normal
manner.

Microsoft Internet Explorer
landweb direct has been
tested with Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5.5 and greater. This
is the only browser that is officially supported, but other
browsers may work correctly. You can download Microsoft
Internet Explorer from the Microsoft Web Site. If the link is unavailable, perform a search via a Search Engine on "Internet Explorer 5.5 download" to locate an alternative download site.
The latest version of the Adobe Acrobat
reader is available from the Adobe Web Site. Adobe Acrobat is required to view
certain documents contained in the Library. Once installed the
Acrobat Reader integrates seamlessly into the Web browser,
allowing Acrobat documents to be viewed and printed.
The DjVu Browser plug-in is required to view
folio and memorial images in the Direct Access Service. Once installed
the viewer integrates seamlessly into the Web browser, allowing
djvu images to be viewed.
