COMPUTERISED COPY MAP UPDATE

Following discussions with customer representatives, the Law Society and Syntegra, the content of computerised copy maps will be revised as follows:

1. In the short term, the folio numbers of those folios abutting the folio, the subject of the copy map request, will be identified and inserted in the legend of the map panel. Furthermore, the only difference between the content of certified and uncertified copy maps will be the inclusion of appurtenant rights on certified copies.

2. In the slightly longer term, a frame or border will be created at a predefined distance from the boundaries of the subject folio. The boundaries of abutting folios insofar as they lie within the framed area will be shown on the copy map.

3. Areas of unregistered land will be highlighted on the copy map. This will be introduced at the same time as (2) above.

CAUTIONARY NOTES FOR USERS

1. The map is for location purposes only (Rule 141(1) of the Land Registration Rules (Northern Ireland) 1994 as amended by paragraph 19 of the Schedule of the Land Registration (Amendment Rules 2000)

2. Folio / Statutory Charge boundaries are not guaranteed, (Section 64 of the Land Registration Act (Northern Ireland) 1970)

3. The co-incidence of Land Registry / Statutory Charge markings and OSNI features may have been affected by revisions of the OSNI map subsequent to registration
